13 icons + banner to make + school choices

So I’m making icons and banner for Estonian e-University. No, I’m not hired or anything like that. It’s just a competition.
But I do have only 6 icons done which means there’s a lot to be done. I’m supposed to send them on 30. September or before to compete. Considering that I’d like to send them in two color combination… even more work. It’s not WORK meaning I don’t like it I just don’t have that enthusiasm I had at the beginning.
School started on the first of September. We had this lesson where our homeroom teacher informed us about changes and reminded us some rules. We got Monday’s schedule and after that we took first-graders to festive grounds where we listened to bunch of speeches and few songs.
What really bothered me was that the first-graders talked a lot. I wasn’t especially interested in speeches aswell but it wouldn’t hurt to hear some of them.
Next day we had a trip to Tammsaare’s (Estonian writer whose book we had to read during summer) birthplace. There we were showed old buildings and all sorts of tools that were used more than century ago.
Starting from Monday (5th) we were meant to have usual 45min lessons, 36 of them each week. However when I look back at my schedule then we had only 35 lessons :) this week.
In informatics we were informed about Oracle database language that we can learn on our own from some webpage and then get a certificate for that. I’m not quite sure if I have the time and will to do that but I’m tempted since it would be helpful if I choose to study informatics in university.
Also I’m thinking of taking exam in informatics in spring. Not the state exam but the school exam. In Estonia you’re meant to take 5 exams to graduate gymnasium and at least three of them must be state exams. At the moment I’m thinking to take Estonian (compulsory), math and English as state exams. Since I already took chemistry state exam last year I need one more exam. Either informatics or biology, not sure.
And I could also do research in one of them instead of exam so there are MANY choices…

Camp overview and yellow socks

In the beginning of this month I attended art camp. I stayed with *counts* 11 people at house near Kloogaranna Youth Camp.
By the end of the camp I had 8 oil paintings and bunch of mosquitobites and a burnt leg. Yeah I know it’s weird to have sunburnt leg but that’s what I had due to sitting in fixed position in direct sunshine one day. As a matter of fact it was so burnt that it actually hurt. However I managed to burn my shoulders on a trip to Haapsalu later. So right now I’m losing some of my skin.
Despite that I’ve only went to camp twice I really like camps for being in different environment, getting new friends and good weather (both times).
Day before yesterday I went shopping hoping to get a blouse but returned with cute yellow socks and four hair elastics: two of them white and two steelblue. But the best are the socks, one look at them and you’re happy again, yellow is powerful color :)

The blithe posting

School is finally over. Though I need to go there few times more to help with graduates celebration meeting (isn’t there better word for it in English or is it just my dictionary?) and maybe we’ll perform with the choir aswell. That isn’t sure yet since the performing we were supposed to have tomorrow at ninthgraders celebration meeting (again this weird word combination) was canceled because many of us can’t come.
But back to the point. It’s over because my exam is over. Of course it has been over for many hours but so far I didn’t know the result. Now comes the important part: I got 94 points out of 100 for my chemistry exam! Mh, I logged in and checked once more to actually believe again, lol.

Missing photo camera

Ahh, it’s just not possible. There’s such a wonderful view outside and I can’t take a photo! Grr, I DO need digital photo camera. And soon!
It’s just amazing. The sun is setting but not yet set. Sky is beige to yellow and it’s drizzling. How sweet, we’ll get rid of the springly dust in the air. And then there’s this maple without leaves, so being black as a very good contrast to the sky. And all the lighting! It’s just so beautiful!
As to the camera I’m hoping to have enough money by the autumn. And well if smth goes better it would be just great to have it by summer. But right now it’s not probable.
So I’m gonna miss some gorgeus pictures. Now is that fair? Doesn’t seem so to me.
And yeah, by now there’s nothing to shoot anymore, it’s already gone :(.
